Update 2-6-2025
Some Loggins photos from SABR meeing, Arkansas free agents, and In Case You Missed: Photo Mystery and the Lost Story of Bob Mavis.
More photos of our guy Mike Loggins speaking to Arkansas SABR. I hope you will be with us in August!
I have received several emails and comments about the photo of the 1920 Travelers. Your takes are ALL similar. “I can see what was done to edit the photo, but I can’t imagine how it was done in 1920!”
In case you want to see the photo again or missed the lost story of adopted son Bob Mavis, here is the link to this week’s Backroads and Ballplayers Weekly.
Beeks, Smyly, and Junis are still out there!
FYI, Below is a list of the top reliever free agents ranked by WAR. I think Jalen Beeks will get a job at a good salary. I am not sure about Drew Smyly who is 35 and has earned 63.5 million total salary in his career, or Jakob Junis who is 32, with lifetime earnings of 14.4 million. Do they still want to pitch?
